Mechanical Reciprocating Compressor Type 'SW'

Image

Reciprocating type compressors SW are available in a variety of configurations to suit various local requirements and problems. Using computerized high-end technology, these compressors are balanced dynamically, resulting in low vibration and noise levels with pulsation reduced through effective piping design. Each system is custom designed for optimum performance according to the customer's specific working conditions.

SW Compressors offer the following unique features:

High compressor capacities regardless of the intake pressure
Extremely reliable and easy-to-maintain compressors
Low operational costs to maximize thermodynamic yield, specific energy consumption and reduced oil consumption (non lubricated pistons)
Hood assembly solutions ensuring economical installation and at the same time, limited operating noise

“safe - CNG TECHNOLOGY compressors are specifically designed for the compression of natural gas and offer unique technological advantages over other brands.”

Components for Standard Version

The ‘W’ shaped compressors are designed keeping in mind the usefulness of equipment that can ensure greater flexibility to achieve the best system solutions for both roadside stations and those dedicated to company fleets. Thus, the following features are incorporated into the standard compressor version:

Forced lubrication circuit for the cranks includes oil pump, filter, and pre-assembled piping. The pump supplies oil to the head, to the connecting rod, small end, and to the crosshead. The unloading of the gas under pressure is through special valve lifters, and therefore doesn’t require Blow Down tanks.

The cooling of gas and oil is achieved by means of heat exchangers installed on the compressor's skid. Circulating a water-glycol solution in the appropriate conduits cools the cylinders. The cooling of the water-glycol solution is achieved by means of an air cooler. This solution is kept in circulation by means of an electric pump, the power of which is indicated in the data sheet of each compressor.

The interconnecting piping for gas and water is completely pre-fabricated and pre-assembled. The gas and water inlet and outlet connections are located on the compressor's base. All the vents including the safety relief valve discharges are connected to the edge of the slide. For safety reasons, it is necessary to manifold these exhausts to a safe area.
